To the Safe Side’ explores what it takes for a person to take the step to leave their home country and the sacrifice that comes along with it. Told through the eyes of Anas, a former school teacher and english translator in the Middle East forced to flee his home after exercising free speech, this micro-documentary is just one story of many.
